Rebecca “Becky” MacKenzie Stark (age 82) died August 2, 2022 at her home in Fairfax, Virginia. She and her twin brother (Richard) were born in Gallipolis, Ohio to Harold and Martha MacKenzie. She graduated from Gallia Academy High School and moved to Washington, DC to work for the State Department. In 1962, she married Edward Stark and raised three children in Centreville, Virginia. They divorced in 1984. She and her youngest daughter moved to San Diego, California in 1985 where she lived until 1996 when she returned to Fairfax, Virginia.

Becky received her paralegal certificate from Georgetown University Law School. She spent most of her career in legal secretary and paralegal roles, working at Mobil Oil and various law firms before retiring from Nixon Peabody in 2010.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers (Albert and Richard MacKenzie) and sister (Joan Lewis). She is survived by three children, Tim (Bernadette) Stark, Amy (Reeva) Stark, and Elizabeth (Brian) Stark, and four grandchildren, Caden, Eren, Gudrun, and Imogen – whom she adored.

Visitation and Celebration of Life services will be held at 10 am/11 am respectively on Friday, August 12 at Money and King Funeral Home, 171 Maple Avenue Vienna, Virginia.
