Josefa Guzman

With saddened hearts we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother and grandmother Josefa Guzman on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the age of 86. Josefa was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on August 24, 1935. She came to Chicago, Illinois in 1958 where she dedicated her life to caring for her family. She was a wonderful example of unconditional love and strength. She will be lovingly remembered by her 10 children: Rosita Guzman, Raquel Guzman, Evelyn Guzman, Nelsa Guzman, Carmen Guzman, Lucy Guzman, Jose Guzman, Andy Guzman, Nancy Guzman, and Adelaida Guzman along with her 21 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great grandchild. You will be truly missed and will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you for your love, strength, and dedication. Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."
