Linda D. Levinson Obituary

Linda Diane Levinson, passed away peacefully August 4, 2022, she was born in Bay City on February 16, 1951 to the late Robert and Edith (Shaw) Schutt. November 23, 1984, she married her forever love P. James Levinson who survives her. Linda loved living on the Saginaw Bay for the past 42 years. She was a proud member of The Daughters of American Revolution. A Master Gardener, a member of the Zonta Club and Bay Heritage Quilt Guild. She retired from MacMillian and Associates. Linda was a very talented artist, she enjoyed reading Stephen King novels on the deck of her boat. She loved spending time cruising our beautiful Great Lakes State on water or land with her husband. Every fall she would spend time cheering for her beloved U of M Football Team. She loved sewing, quilting, and gardening. She enjoyed making gourmet meals and entertaining with her family and friends. Survived by her husband P. James Levinson, children: Tyler (Karin) Vogel, Taylor (Sarah) Vogel and Tracey (Brian) Herek. Grandchildren: Jordan (Keithan) Jackson, Avery, Gemma, Addison, Griffin Vogel, Lauren and Branden Herek, great granddaughter, Ella Jackson. Sister, Sheryl (Daniel) Drzewicki and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded by her parents, Robert and Edith Schutt and stepdaughter Melinda Levinson. Special Thank You to the caring staff of Avielle Haven Home of Midland. Visiting hours will be Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Penzien-Steele Funeral Home. A private service will be held on Monday with Rev. Chris Garcia officiating. Burial will be at Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
