Timothy George Sheets
<p> </p> <p>Timothy George Sheets, age 56 years, 1 month and 18 days of Keaton Branch, West Liberty, KY, passed away Thursday, August 4,2022 at his home with his family by his side, after a difficult battle with cancer. It was during those long nights that he called out to the Lord and asked him to save his soul. Timmy was baptized at home while lying in his bed. He gave his wife and family the assurance that he had made peace with God and was ready to make Heaven his home. He let them know he would be waiting to see us there. Timmy was born June 17,1966 in West Liberty to Ford and Geraldine Abell Sheets, who preceded him in death.</p> <p>Surviving are his wife of 32 years, Kimberly Ann Keaton Sheets, daughter, Alli Elizabeth Sheets and Cody Cantrell. Grandson, Timothy Woody Cantrell. Brothers and sisters, Eddie Sheets, Teresa & Glenn Hance, William Sheets, Angie & Chico Jones, Karen & Dave Wells, Lisa & Doug Nickell, Kristi & Dwayne Ferguson, Lori & Scott Clinger. Father & mother- in- law, Roger and Ina Keaton, sister & brother-in-law, Sandy & Hiram Howard. Host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Special friends whom he loved like family. We will all mourn his passing.</p> <p>Timmy had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off his back or his last dollar. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was able to fix about anything that one could tear up. He loved to tinker with cars, engines and listen to music. He loved life and wanted to live it to the fullest. He was not a person who wanted for himself, but gave to others. He loved his dogs, especially Peanut. He enjoyed the outdoors and the quiet evenings setting on the porch with Kim, just being together.</p> <p>Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Sunday, August 7,2022 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Harry Frisby and Bro. Paul Keeton officiating. Interment in Coffey-Sheets Cemetery, Hwy 705, West Liberty, KY. Visitation starts 6:00pm, Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.</p> <p>Active pallbearers: Tim Gibson, Jimmy “Red” Stacy, Donnie Dye, Ralphie Barker, Richie Jones, Guy Cottle.
