Our dear mother, Percy Lee Jones, sadly passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 92. She lived a long and full life and will be greatly missed. At Percy’s request there will be a Graveside Service only. Percy moved to Bremerton in 1953 and went on to raise 3 children and have an amazing fulfilling 23-year career at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. She received many awards and plaques for exemplary job performance. She also worked with the Equal Opportunity Committee within the shipyard for a couple of years. Percy was a member of Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church since the 1960’s. Percy was an avid sports fan. She especially enjoyed baseball, football, basketball and golf. She loved to grow and work with plants and flowers. Percy’s main passion was good down-home cooking of Sunday and holiday dinners. She also enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. Percy is survived by her 3 children, John, Barbara and Brenda; 4 grandchildren; David, Davon, LaShay and Todd; 1 brother, Harvey and many nieces, nephews and cousins.August 12, 1929 - July 31, 202208/12/192907/31/2022
