Alfred "Al" E Spearbecker Obituary

Alfred E. Spearbecker, 61 of Tomah passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison. He was born on March 14, 1961, to Vernon W. and Martha M. (Bendickson) Spearbecker in Marshfield, WI. Al was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 1979. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Throughout his lifetime, Al held a variety of different jobs, most notably, at Aerospace Welding Corp in the Cities, a lab transportation driver and as well as a truck driver. Al had a quirky personality and was a gifted storyteller, sometimes indulging in the details but often drawing a captivated audience. Some of his hobbies were, Harley Davidson motorcycles, model airplanes and radio-controlled airplanes. Serving as the past president of the Anoka County R/C Club in MN. He is survived by his daughter, Samantha McReynolds, grandchildren, Nathaniel and Noah, siblings, Rebecca (Dennis) Frost of Warrens, Don (Maria) Spearbecker of Caledonia, Nancy Trainor of AZ, and Bill (Debbie) Spearbecker of Chetek. He is further survived many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vern and Martha, and a sister, Deborah Tovsland. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, 11:00 AM at Grace Bible Church, Warrens. Pastor Dennis Frost will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Saturday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. A Graveside inurnment service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 10:00 AM in the Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens with military honors. Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
