Michael Charles Pruitt Jr, 30, of Martinsville, left this earthly life all too soon and unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was born in Bloomington on January 1, 1992, to Michael Charles Pruitt and Dawn Renae (Walker) Pruitt. He graduated from Martinsville High School with the class of 2010. He worked in INDOT bridge construction for the Tatman Sims & Pedigo Corporation. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing basketball, golfing, and fishing. He was also an avid reader. He leaves behind a host of loving family who will miss him greatly including his parents, Michael and Renae of Martinsville; sisters, Valerie MacKinson of Martinsville, Dawn (husband, Rob) Baker of Phoenix, Arizona, and Amy Pruitt (fiancé, Charles Johnson) of Martinsville; maternal grandparents, Russell and Ruth Walker of Martinsville, as well as, 6 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great nephew, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dana and Joan Pruitt. There are no public services scheduled for Michael. His earthly remains have been cremated.
