Cardell Mitchell “(Carde)” Anderson Obituary

Cardell Mitchell Anderson was born February 24, 1963, in Temple, Texas to the parentage of Bercha Thomas Anderson and Mary Louise Anderson. Cardell, also known as Mitchell, attended, and graduated from Temple High School where he played on an award-winning championship football team in 1980. He furthered 
his education at Blinn College and Temple College and received an associate degree in Business Management. At an early age he joined and attended St. James United Methodist Church in Temple, 
Texas. He later joined the Christian House of Prayer in Killeen, Texas and accepted Christ in his life in 2017. Cardell has had the opportunity to meet many people while working at Arco Bell, Wilsonart, Baylor Scott & White, Kellogg Brown & Root in Baghdad, Iraq, and Vectrus in Kuwait. Cardell married LaWanda Faye Franklin and to this union Alicia Anderson and Christopher Anderson were born. He married Zella Davis Hemphill in his later years. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Bercha Thomas and Mary Louise Anderson, one 
sister, Ethel Mae Anderson, and a sister-in-law who passed away in January, Glenda Faye 
Reavis-Anderson.
He is survived by his wife, Zella Davis Anderson, children, Alicia & Matt Jones, and Christopher Anderson, Joseph & Lakeysha Hemphill, and Jokeisha Hemphill. His surviving four brothers and one sister, Bercha Anderson Jr. & Sheri Anderson, Warren Dean Anderson, Edward Anderson & Debra Anderson, Brian Anderson, and a sister, Myrtle Clemons & Scottie Clemons. He has five grandchildren, Gemma Jones, Audrey Jones, Miles Jones, Tristen Anderson, and Kamari Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
