Aaron Mark Rice, age 34, passed away suddenly, leaving us far too soon, on August 2, 2022 in Ashland, OH. Aaron was born in Sawantwadi, India and spent the first 13 months of his life in the care of a children’s home. In the fall of 1988, he made the long trip across the world and into the loving arms of adoptive parents, Mark and Judy Rice. He joined his new older sisters, Andrea and Allyson, in their home in New London, OH, where they were raised. He became big brother to Emma and Zachary in the following years. Aaron was an energetic and spirited boy, and he loved to play baseball, ride his bike, and go fishing with his Poppa. His life changed in later years when he became a father to Breyden Mark, who he loved fiercely and was immensely proud of. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Ashland. Though plagued by poor health more recently, he enjoyed backyard mechanics with his neighbors and late nights around his kitchen table having coffee with good friends and listening to music. He was a loyal friend and loved by many.

Aaron will be welcomed to his heavenly home by his late father, Mark. He is survived by his sweet son, Breyden Watson, mother Judy Rice, siblings Andrea (Charles) Brookover, Allyson (Larkin) LeSueur, Emma Rice and Zachary Rice, five nieces and nephews, and special friend Cassandra France. He also leaves behind his precious furry companion, Eleeh.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 5th at 1:00 p.m. at the Ashland Cemetery conducted by his brother-in-law Larkin LeSueur. Burial will immediately follow the service.
