<p>Nicholas A. DeSalvo, 43, of New Castle passed away the morning of August 2, 2022 at his residence. </p><p><br></p><p>Born in New Castle on April 14, 1979, Nicholas was the son of Terry and Cindy Brunswick DeSalvo. Both his parents survive and reside in New Castle. </p><p><br></p><p>Nicholas worked as the Director of Building Trades for New Castle School of Trades. </p><p><br></p><p>Nicholas was an avid sports fan and very active in local sports, coaching Little League and Junior High Baseball teams. He enjoyed cooking, golfing and watching his favorite college teams, The Duke Blue Devils and Notre Dame football. </p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his children, Torilyn DeSalvo, Angelo DeSalvo, Carlo DeSalvo; the mother of his children, Melissa Schaub DeSalvo, his brothers, Michael DeSalvo (Kristen), Christopher DeSalvo; his sister, Amber DeSalvo and fiance Jose Medina; his maternal grandmother, Lois Shipley and his companion and love, Michele Zingaro. </p><p><br></p><p>He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Donald Brunswick, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Louise DeSalvo. </p><p><br></p><p>Visitation is Friday from 11am to 1pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St followed by a service at the funeral home at 1:00pm conducted by Pastor James Henderson of Elevate Community Outreach.</p><p><br></p><p>Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.decarbofuneralhome.com.</p>
