Donna Marie Burns, 68, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away on December 2, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. She was born on May 9, 1953, in Allegheny County, PA, daughter of the late Lee Shirley and Anna Marie Wingheart Layne. Donna was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, and westerns. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses and dogs. Donna also loved to ride motorcycles. She was a catholic by faith, and a member of American Legion Post #15, Parkersburg, WV. She is survived by her husband, James Martin Fleagle; sons, Kenny (Amber) Layne, Troy (Brandi) Rife, and Dustin Burns; daughters, Heather Buckley, Gwendolyn Chapman, Allison Burns (Jerry), and Tiffany Sebesta (Chris); 15 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; her brother, Kevin Layne; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Leo Layne. Per Donna's wishes she was cremated. Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV, is in charge of her arrangements.
