Lora Dawn Mallett Belue, of Winter Haven, Florida, formerly of Ravenswood, passed away on August 31, 2021. She graduated with the class of 1984. She then attended WVU-P in 2002, and Cosmetology School in Knoxville, TN. She was a second mom to many. Lora was a former employee of the Jackson Herald and Star News. She was presently employed by D/R Media in Winter Haven, FL. She is survived by her husband, Patrick; son, John (Haley); daughter, Jacklyn; mother, Bobbie Mallett Phillips; sister, Launa Mallett (Andy Baechle); sister by choice, Melissa McCorkle Lavin; grandchildren, Payton, Lauren, and Tyson; father-in-law, Ron Belue; sisters-in-law, Roxanne, Teresa and Carol; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Mary Priddy, and Harley and Alma Mallett; father, Raymond Jack Mallett; stepfather, Clyde Phillips; and mother-in-law, Colleen Belue. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Reverend Tom Nolan officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks to donate blood, or donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
