James Ray Morgan

James Ray Morgan, 62, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on August 29, 2021, at his home. James was born on June 19, 1959, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late Evan Scott and Ernestine Maxwell Morgan. He was a 1977 graduate of Ravenswood High School and a 1983 graduate of Ohio University. He attended the First Baptist Church in Ravenswood. James was a devoted husband to Terry and an amazing father to Joshua. Terry and James met in their sophomore year of high school and married 5 years later on June 14, 1980. They celebrated 41 years of marriage this year. James retired in April of 2019. He enjoyed spending time gardening, cooking, walking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and loved ones. He was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and looked forward to football season each year. James' faith and relationship with Jesus was evident in his relationships with others.
