Wilford Paul Hafer
Wilford Paul Hafer, 85, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on July 29, 2022, at his home. He was born on March 31, 1937, in Jackson County, WV, son of the late Earl and Kathleen Patterson Hafer. He was a member of Ravenswood Church of God. Also, after 33 years of service, he retired from DuPont, where he was a Power Service Operator. Paul loved his family and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and westerns. Paul is survived by his wife, Betty Speece Hafer; daughter, Roselee Hurst (Dean); sons, David Hafer (Kathy), James Hafer (Penny), Robert Hafer (Jessica) and Timothy Hafer; grandchildren, David Jr., April, James, Alesha, Chris, Zack, Jeremy and Andrew; and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Richard Hafer; and sister, Barbara Dunbar. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Justin; sister, Janice Salser; brother, Carroll Hafer; sisters-in-law, Mary Hafer, Shirley Hafer, Charlott Speece, Linda Johnson and Maxine Fisher; brother-in-law, Ed Speece; and father and mother-in-law, Tom and Evine Speece.
