Jack Richard Young, 89, of Millwood, WV, passed away on October 13, 2020, at Camden-Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV. He was born on November 22, 1930, in Kimberly, WV, son of the late William Young and Evelyn Young. Jack was a Christian by faith and faithful to the church. He lived in Michigan for 38 years then moved back to West Virginia so he could do the things he loved (fishing, hunting and golfing). He retired from General Motors. Jack was a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by his spouse of 65 years, Pearl Mae Salyer Young; children, Donna (David) Morris, Terry Lee Young, and Vicky Lynn (Larry) Sumner; brothers, Jimmy (Helen) Young and Eugene (Masel) Young; sister, Shelby Young; 4 grandchildren, Melissa, Timothy, Nathan, and Karoline; 8 great grandchildren, Daydrean, Kennedi, Allie, Wes, Lawson, Christian, Isabella, and Braydee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Nile, "Tiny", and Kenneth. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood.
