Judith Ann (Walden) Thompson, 73 of Ravenswood, WV went to her final rest with her Saviour on March 28, 2016, at Cleveland Clinic following a brief illness.
She was born November 21, 1942 in Branchland, WV to the late Veroy and Opal (Clay) Walden.
She leaves behind a loving, devoted best friend and husband of 57 years, Bob Thompson who stayed faithfully by her side through her illness making sure every need was met. She leaves behind two sons: Barry Thompson and Larry Thompson, both of Ravenswood, WV; two grandchildren, Katie and B.J.; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Patty (Charles) Watson of Midkif, WV.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Dan Walden.
Judy was a wonderful wife and mother, devoting her life to the comfort of her family. Even through her sickness, she unselfishly thought of others. She was a Christian and prayer warrior with a meek and quiet spirit. anyone who knew Judy loved her as she was a wonderful caring friend, known for her delicious homemade pies. She was an active member of the Ripley Baptist Temple. She was a homemaker and former secretary of the WV Forestry Assoc.
Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 Friday, April 1, at the Ripley Baptist Temple with service following at 1:00. Arrangements made by Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
