She was born on January 18, 1939, in Parkersburg, WV, and is the oldest daughter of the late Lloyd Wilson Cline and Opal Marie Lott Cline. She is best known in the community as the sweet old lady who ran the baseball card shop in downtown Ravenswood for the last 29 years, where she made many, many friends. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carl DeQuasie; sisters, Rose Lord and Tara Marvin; brothers, Lloyd Cline and Robert Cline; son, Doug (Sharon) DeQuasie of Ravenswood, WV; daughters, Liz (Terry) Benson of Spring City, TN, Bonnie (Rod) Smith of Ravenswood, WV; grandchildren, Danielle (Josh) Williams, Steven Landis, David (Christina) Crump, Candy Stone, Todd (Tasha) Benson, Mike Smith, Amy (Scott) Morgan, Bryan (Randi) Smith; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Cline of Indiana, and her beloved son, Wilson Boyd DeQuasie, who died tragically in an auto accident in June of 1985. The funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Reverend Richard DeQuasie officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Sunday, August 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
