Ronald Lee Buckland

Ronald Lee Buckland, 71, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on January 1, 2022, at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, WV. He was born on December 15, 1950, in Radford, VA, son of the late George Washington and Mary Louise Hess Buckland. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was a huge fan of Marshall University Football. He loved his family, his country, and God. He retired as a Staff Sargent in the US Army. Surviving is his wife, Terry Raines Buckland; children, sons, Rob Buckland of Edgewater, FL, and Rick Fowler (Corrie) of Puyallup, WA; daughters, Brandi (Troy) Rife of Racine, OH, and Tonya Buckland of Brampton, Ontario, Canada; sister, Garrett Plumley of Williamstown, WV; 8 grandchildren; and 4 nieces. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Freda McVay; son, Ralph Fowler; and granddaughter, Samantha Buckland. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
