Stephen Walter Shriver, 67, of Sandyville, WV, passed away on April 2, 2022, at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, WV. He was born on June 25, 1954, in Sandyville, WV, son of the late John Walter and Etta Leona Maddox Elliott. He attended Drift Run Church in Sandyville. He loved his entire family. He loved to fish, hunt, and especially loved turkey hunting. He was a jack of all trades and master of most. He was also a dedicated MOPAR fanatic. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Ott (Charles), Jeremy Shriver (Mindy), and Holly King (Kevin); grandchildren, Zachary Shriver, Brandon Pauley, Jared Austin Angus, Olivia Shriver, Nicholas Weekley, Colton King, Kaycee King, Lane Southall, and Cora Ott; great grandchildren, Greyson, Mia, Ellie, Daxton, Rylee, Kelsey, Jase, Christopher, and Baby J; 3 brothers, Shawn Michael Shriver (Sheri), Victor Darren Shriver, and Daniel Wayne Shriver; sisters, Pamela Elliott and Joni Redman (Jim); mother of his children, Patricia Gentry Shriver; and his life partner, Kathy Creel. In addition to his parents, Etta Elliott and John Walter Shriver, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Tyler King; grandparents, Holly A. (Hod) Maddox and Lucille D. Maddox; and uncle, Clellie Maddox. A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood. The family would like for everyone attending to wear their favorite MOPAR or hunting and fishing shirt. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Roush Funeral Home, PO Box 933, Ravenswood, WV 26164, to help family with funeral expenses.
