Visitation Location: Silverton United Methodist Church Visitation Time: Sunday, February 3 (1-2PM) Service Location: Silverton United Methodist Church Service Time: Sunday, February 3 (2PM) Carolyn Rose Wines, 68, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on January 23, 2019, at CAMC General Hospital in Charleston, WV. She was born on March 22, 1950, in Silverton, WV, daughter of the late William Harvey and Edith Lillian Bowan Bennett. Carolyn attended Silverton United Methodist Church when she was younger. She was a cook at Ravenswood Pizza Hut and Ravenswood Village for many years. She enjoyed bowling and was on the women's league. She collected angels, was an animal lover, and was a loyal watcher of "Days of Our Lives". Carolyn is survived by her spouse, Richard Wines; son, Michael Wines; daughter, Krista Wines; granddaughter, Jillian Wines; brother, Carroll Bennett (Annie); and her pet border collie, Asami. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four sisters, Betty Riggs, Wanda Harmon, Helen Ramsey, and Linda Ramsey. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Silverton United Methodist Church with Reverend Donald Ramsey, Jr. officiating. Friends may visit the family at the church on Sunday, February 3 one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ravenswood No Hunger Food Pantry, 232 Walnut Street, Ravenswood, WV 26164.
