Becky Thompson, 63, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on December 29, 2021, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born on November 27, 1958, in Montgomery, WV, daughter of the late William Marion Thompson and Freda Pishner Thompson. Becky always considered herself to be a gypsy soul. She loved traveling, music (southern Rock), and especially loved her family and kids and spending time with her sisters, Lillian and Lois. She is survived by her children, Amanda Anderson of Millwood, WV, and Steven Anderson of Ravenswood, WV; sisters, Lillian Speece and Lois Kibble of Ravenswood, WV; brother, James Pishner of Arlington, VA; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, William Lambert Thompson, Lowell Lee "John" Thompson, and Larry Dale Thompson. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor Kurt Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 4 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The family requests that masks be worn.
