Pamela Sue Larkins-Proffitt-Ballard, born November 7, 1955, passed peacefully in her home on November 30, 2020, at 2:09 pm. She graduated from Racine Southern High School in 1973. She was a mother, wife, grandmother, daughter and friend to many. Her hobbies included going to the beach, gardening, planting flowers, and mowing her lawn. She is preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Charles E. and Kathleen Jackson Ward of Portland, Ohio and Fred and Ruth Branch Larkins. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Hugh "Mickey" Ballard; her parents, Howard "Hoppy" and Donna Ward Larkins, her in-laws, Hugh "Dusty" and Julia "Judy" Ballard. Siblings left are Brent H Larkins and Cheryl A. (Neil Stewart) Larkins of Portland Ohio. Children left to cherish her memory are Jamison "Jamie" Proffitt and Christopher M. Proffitt of Portland, Ohio. Brianne (Todd) Perry, of Bainbridge, Ohio, and stepsons, Hugh "Logan" Ballard and Chase Ballard both of Ripley, WV. Her three granddaughters, Jaden D. and Jillian S. Proffitt of Portland, OH, and Josie L. Perry of Bainbridge, OH, were blessed to have Pam in their childhood and will forever hold her in their hearts. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends from which the family has received gracious blessings and condolences from friends and family left to cherish her memory. May the highest of spirits and purest of energies accompany Pam on her journey. The funeral service will be held at Roush Funeral Home on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 10:00 am with Reverend Mark Price officiating. Burial will follow at Browning Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 4 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, time of service.
