Irene Marie East, 86, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on January 24, 2022, in North Hills Health and Rehabilitation in Wexford, PA. She was born on June 22, 1935, in Christiansburg, VA, daughter of the late Arnold and Myrtle Miles Cupp. She was a member of Ravenswood Church of God. She is survived by her sons, Jerry East (Mary Clare) and Joe East (Kathy); daughters, Vicky East and Melissa Leslie (Joel); sister, Margaret Nichols; grandchildren, Ryan, Niki, Caleb, Kayla, Michael, Alex, Carson, and Reece; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 3:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor Jeff Stefanov officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, January 28, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, time of service.
