James Franklin Fenney, Jr. 79, of Ravenswood, WV, strolled into Heaven on August 12, 2018, after a short illness. He was born on November 4, 1938, in Logan County, WV. He retired as a foreman from Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corp. He is survived by three children, Richard Fenney, Stephen Fenney, and Leslee Smith. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, whom he enjoyed spoiling. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Fenney, Sr. and Bertha Mae Haines Fenney; wife, Phyllis Sue Fenney, and second wife, Barbara Shannon Fenney. A private family service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 12:00 pm at Ravenswood Cemetery with Pastor Cory Adkins officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the No Hunger Food Pantry, 231 Walnut Street, Ravenswood, WV 26164.
