She was born on September 11, 1969, in Wood County, WV, daughter of Connie Yates (Carl) Hardee and the late Harold Snyder. Wendy loved traveling. She was a girl scout leader for a number of years, soccer coach, and participated in various other youth activities. She also enjoyed karaoke. Wendy was a secretary with the WV Department of Education. She is survived by her mother, Connie Yates Hardee (Carl); brother, Matthew Snyder; daughters, Jessica, Laken, and Kiera McCoy; and niece, Courtney Snyder. Preceding her in death are her father, Harold; and her grandparents. Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood on Monday, August 20, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow.
