Gina Antoinette Bowers

Gina Antoinette Bowers, 58, of Ravenswood, WV, went to be with her Heavenly Father on July 23, 2021, surrounded by her family after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Franklin, Sr., and Lois Spradling. She is a 1984 graduate of Heritage Christian Academy. She enjoyed her job at REM Community Actions where she worked for 9 years with people with mental disabilities. Aside from her parents, she is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bill and Josephine Spradling; her maternal grandparents, Denny and Maggie Christian; brother-in-law, Carl (Bam) Dusenburry; nephew, Eddie Casto; baby niece, Skylar Casto; and sister-in-law, Beth Reynolds. She is survived by her brother, Frank, Jr.; and sister, Christina Dusenburry, both of Ravenswood; nieces, Amber Spradling of Pomeroy, OH, Ashley Spradling of Middleport, OH, Martha Reynolds (Bobby Casto), and Seaira Casto of Ravenswood; nephews, Lucas and Pheonix Herdman of Middleport, OH, and Hunter Casto; sisters-in-law, Trudy Mitchell and Carol Whitt; her best friends, Connie Sullivan, Kathy Bigley, Lori Bradley, Jan and Megan Watkins, and Jo and Leah West. She is being cremated and there will be a memorial service on August 7, 2021 at 3:00pm at Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Jeff Keffer officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Roush Funeral Home, P.O. Box 933, Ravenswood, WV 26164, toward funeral expenses.
