Visitation Location: Roush Funeral Home Visitation Time: Thursday, July 5 (6-8PM) Service Location: Nazarene Church Service Time: Friday, July 6 (1PM) Mary Louise Staats "Tink" Gorrell, 88, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on July 1, 2018, at her home. She was born on November 8, 1929, in Jackson County, WV, daughter of the late William and Ona Jackson Staats. She attended the Nazarene Church in North Ravenswood and committed herself to being a fulltime homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. Mary is survived by her son, Denver Eugene Gorrell; daughters, Donna Kay Collins, Barbara Jean Gandee and Vickie Lynn Gorrell; eight grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Denver Gorrell, and her son, James Duane Gorrell. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the Nazarene Church in Ravenswood with Reverend Ron Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood on Thursday, July 5, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or the Alzheimer Foundation.
