Visitation Location: Roush Funeral Home Visitation Time: Sunday, June 24 (1-3PM) Service Location: Roush Funeral Home Service Time: Sunday, June 24 (3PM) RAVENSWOOD - Harold Harry Harless, 88, of Ravenswood, loving grandfather and great-grandfather, departed this life on June 22, 2018. Harold Harry Harless, 88, was born on December 24th, 1929, in Madison, West Virginia, where he was affectionately known as "Slim." He was one of seven children born to the late Olivia E. Browning and Will Harless. Also preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Junie Ernestine Sutphin Harless, his brothers: Bryce Harless, Ezekiel Harless, Siegel Harless, Curtis Harless, Will Harless Jr., and his beloved grandson, Christopher Shayne Myers. He spent most of his working life at Kaiser Aluminum in Ravenswood. He worked in the finishing department and retired in 1990. His true passion was working with cars. You could always find him in his garage, and he had built a small body shop on his farm. He was proud to always provide his children and grandchildren with vehicles to drive. He was always happy to receive visits from his grandchildren, and he loved to share his sweets with them, including his stockpile of Little Debbie cakes and circus peanuts. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Phyllis and John Myers, his son "Sandy" Harless, and his sister Hazel Chambers. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Todd Myers, Jamie Myers McCombs, Nathan Harless, and Ashley Harless, as well as eight great-grandchildren: Maddie, Anna-Claire & Isabelle Myers, Henry, Maevry and Adele McCombs, Linda June Harless and Asia Harless. A service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24th at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV, with Pastor Keenan Gooseman officiating. Burial will follow at the Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at Roush Funeral Home from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, Sunday June 24th prior to the service. In lieu of flower donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
