Nancy Lou Proffitt Holsinger, 76, of Racine, Ohio, went to be with the Lord at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on March 20, 2017.
She was born on March 17, 1941, in Racine, Ohio, daughter of the late Joseph Franklin and Dorothy Wolfe Proffitt.
She enjoyed spending time in the West Virginia mountains, and more importantly, spending time with her grandchildren and her family.
She is survived by her children, Debbie Evans, Loretta (Dave) Strang, Larry (Melissa) Holsinger, Jr., Vickie (Duck) Smith; six grandchildren, Brandi (Tommy) Roush, Zack Meadows, Kelsey (Zach) Whitlach, Amber (Justin) Connolly, D.J. (Alisia) Smith, and Josh Smith; great grandchildren, Kyeger, Kamry, and Kalli Jo Roush, "soon to be born" baby Emmie, Lexie Smith, Bo Hunter Smith; mother-in-law, Frances Holsinger; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Wanda Holsinger, Connie and Bill Moodispaugh, Carol and Ben Owens, Roger and Tia Holsinger, Jack Lyons, and Lola Proffitt; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Holsinger, Sr.; sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jake Bush; brother, David Proffitt; father-in-law, Clint Holsinger; grandson, Rusty Smith; son-in-law, Gary Evans; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Lyons.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 7:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood, WV.
Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 22 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
