R. Parsons, Jr. Lorna Allison Brown, 57, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on February 16, 2016, at Camden-Clark Medical Hospital in Parkersburg, WV. She was born on March 11, 1958, in Olney, MD, daughter of Doris Brown, and the late James Alger Brown. She was a member of the Shepherd Class at the Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood. She worked for several years at the Jackson County Sheltered Workshop in Millwood, WV. She was an avid Redskins football fan and enjoyed the Gaithers Gospel Show on television. She loved her soap operas, especially General Hospital. She also enjoyed family gatherings and traveling. She is survived by her mother, Doris Brown, Ravenswood, WV; brother, Clayton Brown and wife Shari, Ravenswood, WV; sister, Marilyn Fort and husband Dennis, Gay, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 12:00 pm at Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood with Pastor S. R. Parsons, Jr. officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at Gay Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Friends may visit the family at the church on Saturday, February 20, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
