R. Parsons, Jr. Wilma Gay Jarrell, 80, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on November 29, 2016, at CAMC Memorial Hospital in Charleston, WV. Wilma was born on November 30, 1935, in Ohley, WV, in Kanawha County, daughter of the late William Sherman Walk and Bessie May Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, Sr.; six brothers; and one sister. Wilma was a member, former secretary, and Sunday school teacher at Second Baptist Church in Ravenswood. She owned and operated Wilma's Boutique and Wilma's Beauty Salon in Ravenswood for many years. She is survived by her sons, Earl "Avy" Jarrell, Jr. of Ravenswood, WV, and Charles "Rob" Jarrell of Chillicothe, OH; 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Emily, Ashely, and Calitin; and four great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2016, at 1:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor S. R. Parsons, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Saturday, December 3, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
