Visitation Location: Roush Funeral Home Visitation Hours: Thursday, September 28 (5-6:30PM) Jack Darnell, 83, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away on September 24, 2017, in the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, OH. Jack was born on September 7, 1934, in Wayne, WV, son of the late Walter and Dortha Kirk Darnell. He was a loving husband and father. He served in the US Marines for 3 years, then joined the US Air Force, serving during the Vietnam Conflict, and ultimately retired as a jet engine mechanic. He is survived by his spouse of 62 years, Rosemary Darnell; 2 daughters, Elaine Tintle (Art), and Natalie Darnell; 1 granddaughter, Tracy Northfield (Jerry); and 5 great granddaughters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Helen Reed. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2017, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood.
