She was born in Rainelle, WV, on February 3, 1934, daughter of the late Elmer and Nora Ross. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Lawrence Lee Boothe, Jr.; sons David (Lisa) Boothe of Landenberg, PA, Thomas (Elizabeth) Boothe of Cottageville, WV, Bruce Boothe of Ravenswood, WV, Lloyd (Melanie) Boothe of Ravenswood, WV; daughter Patricia, (Rodney) Davis of Cutler, Ohio; 13 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Parks Ross; mother, Nora Moore Ryder Ross; brother, Amos Ross; sisters, Elizabeth (Peg) Martin, Kathaleen Johnson, Eula McClung, and Leona Winnings. She was a homemaker, loving wife and mother, and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren and camping with her family, to whom she was always known as "Granny." Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Roush Funeral home in Ravenswood WV, with viewing at 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a brief service at 1:00 pm with Reverend David Johnston officiating, and interment to follow at Jackson County Memory Gardens in Cottageville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to support Alzheimer's disease research.
