He was born on November 27, 1957, in Jackson County, WV, son of Eunice Carothers Somerville and the late Harry Homer Somerville. Harry loved and enjoyed his boys and grandkids. He enjoyed all family functions, outdoors, hunting, and the county fair. He never missed the truck pulls, especially when Nathan was pulling the truck Harry referred to as Black Beauty. He enjoyed being a part of his children's and grandchildren's lives on a daily basis. He always attended his boys and grandchildren's school functions and sports. Harry was a foreman at Hartley Oil in Ravenswood. He is survived by his wife, Susan Darlene Crow Somerville; sons, Harry Curtis (Jennifer) Somerville, Matthew (Natasha) Somerville, and Nathan (Brandi) Somerville; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Karson, Kaylyn, Kaydence, Natalee, and Nora; his mother, Eunice; brother, Tim; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Harry, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; sister, Pam; and sister-in-law, Janet. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 2:00 pm at Roush Funeral Home in Ravenswood with Pastor Chris Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in the Baptist Cemetery in Silverton, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
