Donna Mae Linne
Donna Mae Linne, 85, of Storm Lake, formerly of Coralville, IA, died on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Methodist Manor. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 8 at 1:00 PM at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service Iowa City, 605 Kirkwood Avenue, Iowa City. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service. Donna will be laid to rest with her husband Henry in a private ceremony at Memorial Park Cemetery in Mason City, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to The American Diabetes Association. Donna was born May 1, 1937, in Hampton, IA the daughter of Edmond and Viola Hobson Caton. She grew up near Kilgore, TX, and Iowa Falls, IA graduating from Ackley High School. On January 2, 1960, Donna married Henry Linne, lovingly known as “Junior.” Following high school graduation, Donna completed a two-year course to become an LPN at Marshalltown Mercy Hospital. She worked as a nurse for forty years for the State of Iowa and finished out her career at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in 1998. Donna enjoyed spending time with her sister, her flowers, and dog Willie. Donna is survived by her nephew, Mike Barlow from Lakeside, Iowa, and niece, Sue Barlow from Johnston, Iowa, along with numerous friends and relatives. Donna was preceded in death by her husband Henry “Junior” Linne (2015), her sister Patricia Barlow, and her parents.May 1, 1937 - July 31, 202205/01/193707/31/2022
