Jane passed away July 29, 2022 in Charlotte, NC.  She was 92.  

Jane grew up in Minneapolis, MN.  She attended West High School and graduated in January of 1948.  

Lavina Jane Webster was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Metropolitan University.  She met James Lee Kamiske at the University of Minnesota.  She was an Alpha Gamma Delta, he was an ATO.  They were married 51 years.  She loved to travel, enjoyed reading and games.  She was happiest spending time with family and friends.

Kamiske's had a wonderful family life in Edina, MN with their 2 children, Janie and Tom.  

Jim and Jane moved to Austin, TX on a 3M transfer in the 1980's. Everyone had a wonderful time in Texas!

Jane moved to Charlotte in 2006 to be closer to Janie, Jim, and her only grandson Nicholas James Lowell.  

She was an inspiration to many people.  Her adventurous spirit and kind heart will be missed by friends and family.  Jane was a positive influence and set a good example. 

She is survived by her daughter Jane Anne Lowell, her husband James Arthur Lowell, grandson Nicholas James Lowell, nieces and nephews, pet and friend "Boo.”
A Celebration of Life for Lavina will take place on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Lakewood Chapel at Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Avenue, Minneapolis, MN.
