Rejeanne M. Sirois Obituary

LEWISTON - It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of our wife and mother, Rejeanne M. Sirois. She passed away at her home in Lewiston on August 2, 2022, with family by her side. Born on April 2, 1933, she was the daughter of Adelard and Antonia (Gauthier) Roy. Educated locally, she was a graduate of Holy Family School. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and her family was the most important thing to her. Rejeanne was a talented seamstress, sewing custom draperies for many homes and businesses in the Lewiston area. She also enjoyed crafting and would often set up a tent at local craft fairs to sell her wares. She loved listening to old French songs and playing music on her keyboard. Chocolate was always her favorite treat and could be found on her kitchen counter for anyone who wanted it. She enjoyed her time away from home at the Sebago Lake Camp, and in Port Richey, Florida for many years. A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, Prince of Peace Parish. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 68 years, Albert Sirois; four sons, Marc and his wife Janice Sirois, Paul and his wife Kelly Sirois, Dave and his wife Connie Sirois, and Ronald and his wife Susan Sirois; a daughter, Diane and her husband Arthur Chamberlain; grandchildren, Eric and his wife Sonja Pomerleau, Jade and her husband Zack Mumau, Liza and her husband Hans Breton, Cody Sirois, David and his wife Hui, Jessica and her husband Bryan Conley, Taylor Chamberlain and her friend Alec Latulippe; great-grandchildren, Willa Eve Pomerleau, Jameson and Ruby Mumau, Iris Breton, and Natalie and Hailey Conley; siblings, Yvonne Bisson, Cecile and her husband Roger, Real Roy, Fern Roy and his wife Louise, Antoinette Arel; and a sister-in-law Mary Mae Roy. The family would like to send a special thank you to her caretakers and angels from Beacon Hospice Care, Elite Home Care, and Kindred Home Care. Their care was outstanding in all ways. Visitation will be held at the Albert & Burpee Funeral Home on Thursday, August 4, from 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Holy Cross Church on Friday, August 5, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with committal prayers at St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston. Memories may be shared online at www.albert-burpee.com.
