Philip J. Mosca
Philip J. Mosca, 77 of Ardsley, died May 7, 2013. He was born in Mount Vernon, the son of the late Patsy and Mary Mosca. He served as an MP in the United States Army from 1955 to 1957. Philip married Elaine Schwartz on April 19, 1959. He owned and operated Brokerage Co. Inc., an insurance broker agency in Mount Vernon. He was a member of the BAC, Local 5 New York for 59 years. He was the past Secretary Treasurer of the Local. Philip was a long time member of the Mount Vernon Board of Elections. He is survived by his wife Elaine, daughters Christine and her husband Scott Zani, Ann Marie Mosca and Heidi Giarlo, grandsons Philip T. Mosca and Ryan Patrick Mosca, daughter in law Jeanne Marie Mosca, sisters Patricia D'AlisoChristy and Geraldine Mosca. Philip was predeceased by his son Patrick in 2010.
