Robert (Bob) F. Zampino Pearl River, NY 1946-2020 With heavy hearts, we announce that Robert (Bob) F. Zampino passed away on November 23, 2020 after waging a brave battle against cancer. He was a beloved husband to Carol for more than half a century and father to Jason and Nicole as well as a cherished brother-in-law, uncle, confidant, colleague, and friend to many. While he was not with us for nearly long enough, his generous spirit and kindheartedness will live on forever. Bob will be remembered for many things, including his proud service to his country in the U.S. Army's 25th Infantry Division with a tour of duty in Vietnam (1966/67), his love of family and his boundless energy and positivity. He unselfishly shared his time, love and knowledge and made a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to cross his path. Our hearts are broken, and we will miss his bright light, enthusiasm for life and endless jokes, but we take comfort in the legacy he leaves behind and the deep love, respect, and admiration for him that has been expressed to us by countless people whose lives he touched.
