Thomas A. Imperato, Sr, age 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2019, at his home in Westlake Village, CA surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Mary Respol Imperato, daughter, Michele Stabile, son, Thomas A. Imperato, Jr, daughter in law, Anne Imperato, son in law, William Stabile, grandchildren Michael and Alexandra Imperato, and his sister, Gloria D'Andrea. Thomas was born in New York City on November 13, 1926, and was raised in the Bronx. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the Navy during WWII and served in the Pacific. After his service in the Navy he attended Long Island University. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Business and upon his graduation, worked as a cost accountant for a New York City based construction firm. He later joined a CPA firm where he worked until his retirement. Big Tommie, or Big "T" as he was affectionately known, had quick wit and was a wonderful Father. He loved his Family, Country, Friends and his New York Yankees. He will be sorely missed.
