Sister Constance Ann Christie, RSM formerly Sister Mary Andrew of the Sisters of Mercy died at White Plains Hospital on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Born to the late Thomas and Anna, Sister is survived by several nieces, a nephew and their families. Sister Connie was a dedicated educator and for over 35 years was Principal at several schools in the Archdiocese of New York. Twenty-six of those years she was at St. Anthony School, Yonkers, NY and in recent years Sister tutored young students in Sleepy Hollow, NY Wake Thursday, October 27th from 3:30 - 6:30 p.m. with Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m. and Mass of the Resurrection on Friday, October 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Marian Woods Chapel, Hartsdale, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy Ministry Fund, 150 Ridge Road, Hartsdale, NY 10530.
