Thomas Caperello, 80, of Irvington, NY died October 8, 2011. Thomas was born in Sunnyvale, CA to Michael and Ines Caperello. While growing up, his parents owned and operated a fruit ranch. Thomas always had a very youthful and charming soul. He became a professional Opera singer and even released his own CD. Thomas was a member of the San Francisco Opera Company, as well as other opera companies and symphonies in California. He was a charismatic man, who was never afraid to cut loose and be the life of the party. Thomas loved to tell jokes and was a descriptive raconteur. He always had that twinkle in his eye and loved "wine, women and song". Thomas also had a passion for cooking and entertaining. After retiring from singing, he moved to New York and became a master carpenter. Thomas loved to watch and support his grandchildren in their sports games. He was also an enthusiastic Raiders fan and dog lover. Thomas is survived by his daughters, Diana Arkady and Nicolette Randy, 5 grandchildren; Megan, Chris, Joe, Tom and Luke, and his Shih Tzu Lola.
