Joan A. Falcone, 77 of Yonkers died peacefully on Thursday September 22, 2011. Mrs. Falcone was born in Yonkers to Timothy and Helen Buckley. Mrs. Falcone worked for the City of Yonkers in the Bureau of Weights and Measure for many years. After her retirement she went to work for Sterns Dept. Store in Yonkers which later became Macy's. Mrs. Falcone was predeceased by her husband Frank Falcone in 1985. She is survived by her loving children Anthony Tina Falcone, Debbie Bill O'Connell and Frank Falcone, Jr. She is the loving Nana to Anthony, Amanda, Billy and Kim. Also surviving is her sister Frances Kasper. Joan was predeceased by her brother Timothy Buckley. Mass of the Resurrection Monday 10:30 A.M. Church of St. Ann, 854 Midland Avenue, Yonkers, NY. Visiting Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Avenue, Dobbs Ferry, NY.
