Mary Hruska, 89 of Astoria, Queens, NY and most recently of Tarrytown, NY died October 17, 2012. She was born in the Slovak Republic, the daughter of Jozef and Maria Pohorelec. Mary had a great will to live, adored her family and will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph. She is survived by her beloved children, John Sharyn Hruska, Maryann John Malik and Veronica Richard DeSanctis, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, her sister, HelenDominickSokolovic, many nieces and nephews and her 2 dedicated aides Cherry and Carol.
