Carmella "Millie" Paino Chebetar

Carmella "Millie" Paino Chebetar, 88, a life-long Dobbs Ferry resident died June 13, 2011. She was the daughter of Ralph and Concetta Shiavo. Millie was a member of the American Legion Post 1048 Auxiliary and a parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii Church. She worked at Colombia Labs in Irvington and later worked as a clerk for the Village of Dobbs Ferry DPW, retiring in 1989. She is survived by her daughter Joan Tom Reznicek, sons Paul Barbara Jean Paino and Peter Pat Paino, brother Patrick Schiavo, sisters Helen Detente, Josephine Blunda, Edith Wergen and Margaret Wilmoth, 8 grandchildren; Michael, Kim, David, John, Evan, Allison, Julia and Peter, 1 great grandson Patrick Thomas. She was predeceased by her first husband Peter Paino and second husband Lotsey Chebetar. Millie was also predeceased by her siblings Libra Macchi, Rae Pasanella, Rose Scogna, Loretta Raff, Angela Schezzini and Charles Schiavo.
