Joseph Florio, 90, of Dobbs Ferry, NY died May 23, 2011. He was born in Barano D'Ischia, Italy to Philip and Maria Anna Florio. He came to the United States in 1938. He married Rose Barbato on June 3, 1945 in Our Lady of Pity Church in the Bronx. Joseph was a Metal Polisher at the Remco Metal Maintenance in New York City. Joseph enjoyed gardening. He was also a very active parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church in Irvington. He is survived by his beloved wife Rose, daughters Jo Ann Natale Di Iorio, Marie Sven Van Batavia, son Dr. Philip Linda Florio. 9 grandchildren Dana Lynn, Erica, Marc, Daniela, Jason, Erik, Lisa, Ashley, and Joseph. 4 Great Grandchildren Alexandra, Oliver, Caleb and Carter.
