Helen Harper, 65, of Hartsdale passed away on Sunday March 13, 2016 at Westchester Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband Robert Harper, children Emily Harper Matt Gilfus and Noah Harper, and brother Gary Lipperman Pam. Helen was predeceased by her parents Harold and Louise Lipperman, and her brother Robert Lipperman. Helen was an active member of Woodlands Community Temple where she taught for many years, participated in the choir and engaged in adult education, recently becoming Bat Mitzvah. As a kidney transplant recipient she was passionate about organ donor awareness and served on the board of Transplant Support Organization. She was a devoted mother, friend and teacher who touched many in her own unique way. Helen lived her life with integrity, passion, compassion, and wit. She will be missed greatly by her friends and family. Funeral Service Tuesday 10AM Woodlands Community Temple, 50 Worthington Rd, White Plains, NY 10607.
