Margaret "Marge" Englert, 88 of Dobbs Ferry died peacefully on February 15, 2016. Marge was born in the Bronx and has lived in Dobbs Ferry for more than 50 years. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and a member of the Sodality to the Blessed Mother. Marge was an avid reader, and enjoyed relaxing in the peace and solitude during family summer vacations at Lake George. She had a youthful, fun-loving spirit and relished spending time with her three grandchildren. Marge was a member of local senior groups with whom she enjoyed traveling in her later years. Surviving are her children Raymond Englert, Janet Peter Gaynor, and Judy Glen Danischewski; her loving grandchildren Kaitlyn, Cara and Erik. Marge was predeceased by her husband Charles J. Englert and their son Charles J. Englert, Jr. Mass of the Resurrection Friday 9:30 am, Church of the Sacred Heart, Dobbs Ferry. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, 64 Ashford Ave., Dobbs Ferry. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Hospital appreciated.
