Armand J. DiMaria, 96, a longtime resident of Hartsdale died March 29, 2009 at his home. During WWII he served in the U.S. Army. in 1949 he married Cecelia Paolucci. For many years Armand worked for Blue Ridge Oil Co. in the Bronx. He was an avid horseracing enthusiast and particularly enjoyed spending time at Yonkers Raceway with his friends. He was proud of his home and enjoyed gardening, especially tomatoes and basil. Armand will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He took special delight in the times he spent in the company of his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Maureen Foran, his 3 grandchildren Christopher, Alison and Marissa Foran, his brother Victor and son-in-law Bob Foran. His wife died in 1997. He was also predeceased by his beloved German Shepherd Zack. Mass of the Resurrection 9:30 am Wednesday, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry.
