Lavinia Lee La Verdi 91, died March 23, 2009. Born in Portsmouth, Virginia she was the daughter of Orlando and Maddelena Maccaroni. Lee lived in the Bronx until 1953 when she moved to Mount Vernon. In 1995 she moved to Danbury, CT and then to Glen Arden Life Care Center in Goshen. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, swimming and keeping a meticulous house. She was predeceased by her husband of over 40 years Charles La Verdi M.D. in 1991. She is survived by her daughter Joan John Calabrese, son Charles Patricia La Verdi, granddaughter Jennifer Lee La Verdi, brother Mac Maccarni and sister Amy Pavone.
